Guyanese United extends our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Arianna Younge, whose life was tragically cut short at just 11 years old.
We mourn with the nation at the devastating loss of a bright, innocent child whose future was full of promise. No family should ever have to endure the unimaginable pain of losing a child, and our hearts go out to Arianna’s parents, siblings, relatives, friends, teachers, and everyone affected by her untimely passing.
Arianna’s life, though brief, touched many in her school and community. She was known for her warm spirit, kindness, and joy. The outpouring of grief from those who knew her speaks to the light she brought to the lives around her.
We call on all Guyanese to reflect on every child’s value and recommit ourselves to building a country where our young people are nurtured, protected, and safe at home, in school, and everywhere in between.
Guyanese United stands with the Younge family in their time of sorrow. We pray for strength, healing, and justice as they navigate this painful journey. May Arianna’s soul rest in peace, and may her memory inspire us to do better for our children.
Rest in peace, Arianna. You are loved, and you will never be forgotten.
